AI & Compliance
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This page consolidates ResumeRank's AI disclosures, bias notice, jurisdiction responsibilities, and sub-processor information in one place for customers conducting their own legal review.
AI Notice
ResumeRank is a screening aid, not a hiring decision tool. AI-generated scores are intended to help you prioritize review, not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions rest solely with you.
Bias Notice
AI models may reflect biases in training data. Scores should be one signal among many. Employers are responsible for ensuring hiring practices comply with applicable anti-discrimination laws, including Title VII, the ADEA, and the ADA.
Jurisdiction Responsibilities
Employers are responsible for compliance with local AI hiring laws. This includes but is not limited to:
- NYC Local Law 144 -- bias audit and candidate notice requirements for automated employment decision tools used on NYC-based candidates
- California Civil Rights Council Regulations (effective October 1, 2025) -- requiring human oversight, bias testing, and 4-year recordkeeping for automated decision systems in hiring
- California Privacy Protection Agency ADMT Regulations (effective January 1, 2026) -- requiring advance notice to candidates if automated decision-making technology is used
- Illinois Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act and similar state AI hiring laws
- GDPR Article 22 -- rights for EU-resident candidates (right to human review of automated decisions)
- EEOC guidance on AI in hiring and Title VII anti-discrimination requirements
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) -- reasonable accommodation requirements
Results are deleted in 24 hours. Download before deletion if your jurisdiction requires longer retention (e.g., California: 4 years).
